As of early 2011, Nik was promoted to Director of Education at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

December 2008 - Nik has recently played for both the promo and the premiere of the Baz Luhrmann directed blockbuster 'Australia' starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

September 2008 - Release of Nik's first tuition DVD for the ACM, exclusively for the far east market.

August 2008 - The Dunstan Coulber Quartet reforms for a show at the National Theatre with Nik (b), Clark Tracy (d), John Pearce (p) and of course Dunston Coulber (ts).

June 2008 - Nik performs in Imelda May's band for a show hosted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
